note : Surtees spezza il dominio di Clark (che arriva “solo” secondo) e vince autorevolmente il suo primo GP, riportando la vittoria in casa Ferrari, in prova ottima prestazione di Bandini, terzo con la BRM privata, davanti a quelle ufficiali, in gara si deve ritirare al primo giro per un contatto con Ireland, Mairesse si ferisce seriamente per una uscita di pista causata dal vento.
