Potente motore inglese che
spingeva le omonime monoposto, dopo alcune apparizioni nel 54/55 dal 1956
comincia a essere presente pił assiduamente, nel 1957 la prima vittoria (con
Moss), nel 1958 vince il titolo costruttori ed sfiora quello piloti, in
seguito solo due Gp di Gran Bretagna. In tutto 9 vittorie su 28 Gp.
