Aston Butterworth è stato un costruttore di Formula 2 del Regno Unito, che ha gareggiato nel 1952  e (fuori campionato) nel 1953 quando il Campionato del Mondo Piloti è stato gestito secondo i regolamenti di Formula 2. Il progetto è stato ideato da Bill Aston, il telaio era una copia di una Cooper di F. 2 equipaggiata con un motore ideato da Archie Butterworth. La vettura fece il suo debutto nell’aprile del 1952 nella Lavant Cup a Goodwood, finendo ottava con Aston al volante. A maggio, è stata aggiunta una seconda vettura, guidata da Robin Montgomerie-Charrington, che ha ottenuto il miglior risultato del team, un terzo posto a Chimay a giugno. nonci furono mai abbastanza risorse per sviluppare il programma. Nel 1954 quando arrivarono i nuovi regolamenti la Aston-Butterworth si ritirò. Furono costruiti due chassis siglati NB-41 e NB-42
