note : prima doppietta della BRM, la Ferrari schiera ben cinque vetture, senza ottenere risultati particolarmente brillanti, anche se Mairesse si vede portare via il terzo posto da un guizzo di Mclaren, la scuderia italiana decide di non prendere parte ai due prossimi GP, i piloti sono “lasciati liberi” ad eccezione di Mairesse che porterà avanti lo sviluppo della monoposto per il 1963.
